THE BELVEDERE

The Belvedere first opened in winter over a century ago, on December 14, 1903. Hotel Belvedere, as it was originally named, played host to some of the most famous and influential people alive.

Its opening was the social event of the season attended by leaders of art, fashion, industry and finance, gangsters and detectives, developers and financiers, royalty and presidents, movie stars and sports heroes were drawn to its doorsteps.
